Demographic expert and former
faculty at GIPE Sanjeevan Varma said,
"It is surprising that Pune has the lowest percentage of occupants staying
in ownership houses. There are various factors for this, some of them being
migration and high property costs. People change jobs because of which there is
migration. It is worth exploring other reasons."
